For issues directly related to their interests, lives and livelihoods, such consensus must all the more begin with openness, transparency and frank dialogue. In Yen My, meetings between the heads of the Party committee and authorities and the people are becoming a bridge that helps policies be properly understood, concerns be resolved and trust be nurtured. The story of Truong Dang Nang of Thu Thi Village, whose land was subject to recovery for the Yen My Industrial Cluster project, is a typical example. Having had initial concerns, Nang was provided with information on the land recovery policy and the compensation and support plan through conferences and several direct dialogues with local leaders. Once he clearly understood the relevant policies, and after his family's legitimate recommendations were acknowledged by local leaders, Nang's family agreed to receive compensation and hand over the land for the project.

The Commune Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has chaired and coordinated 56 exchange and talk sessions to grasp the thoughts, aspirations, concerns and questions of the people. Notably, in August 2026, Yen My Commune held a conference for meeting and dialogue between the heads of the Party committee and authorities and the people, as well as a "Month of Listening to the People" conference. At the dialogues between the heads of the Party committee and authorities and the people, discussions took place in a democratic, open and frank atmosphere.

Yen My Commune places great emphasis on promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations in grasping the situation among the people. The commune's Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations regularly keep track of the situation and compile opinions and recommendations to report to the Party committee and authorities, while taking part in overseeing the process of resolving and responding to the legitimate recommendations of the people.
