Comrade Nguyen Van Linh, whose real name is Nguyen Van Cuc, was born on July 1, 1915 in a patriotic family in Yen Phu village, Giai Pham commune (Yen My). Comrade participated in revolutionary activities very early. At the age of 15, comrade Nguyen Van Linh was sentenced to life imprisonment by the French colonialists, twice captured by the enemy and exiled to Con Dao. More than 10 years of being imprisoned by the enemy in the hell on earth - Con Dao, despite being tortured by all kinds of tortures and whips by the enemy, he still upheld his indomitable spirit, maintained the revolutionary temperament, and transformed his life. colonial and imperial prisons into communist schools. During his life of nearly 70 years of rich and vibrant revolutionary activities, in all parts of the country, Comrade Nguyen Van Linh has been entrusted with many responsibilities by the Party and State; No matter what position he held, he was wholeheartedly devoted to the Party and the people, completing the assigned tasks. Comrade's revolutionary life and career is a shining example of the communist's moral qualities: diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, justice, impartiality, loyalty to the country, filial piety to the people, and honesty. , modest, simple, sociable, close to the People, hating the ostentatious and formal habits. Articles in the column "Things to be done now" published in Nhan Dan Newspaper, signed by N.V.L in the first year of the renovation period have created a new breath of life in society, showing concern and determination. of the head of our Party against corruption and negativity, protecting the interests and mastery of the People.

 

Besides the common concern for the country, comrade Nguyen Van Linh always looks towards his homeland Hung Yen with deep affection. During the years away from home, he has visited and worked six times in Hung Yen and Giai Pham commune (Yen My). He also showed his concern with letters, telegrams, congratulatory flower baskets, advice, encouragement and thoughtful visits, paying special attention to each step and growth of Hung's homeland. Yen. In November 1997, the 14th Provincial Party Congress was honored to be congratulated by comrade Nguyen Van Linh with his longing: ''For health reasons, unfortunately I did not attend the Congress of delegates of the Communist Party of Vietnam. be awake. Congratulations to the Congress on a successful outcome. The Provincial Party Committee will build all aspects of the province well, turning Hung Yen into a strong province of the whole of Vietnam.” That is also the last advice of Comrade Nguyen Van Linh to the Party Committee and People of Hung Yen. 

 

Always grateful, loving and proud of the excellent son of the homeland, Hung Yen people always pay respect and gratitude to General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh. Over the years, cadres, party members and people in the province have tried their best to study, follow the advice of comrade Nguyen Van Linh, and apply his innovative spirit and thinking appropriately. with practice to bring Hung Yen more and more development. The Party committee, government and people of the province always unite, unify, overcome difficulties, be dynamic, creative, highly determined, strive to achieve important achievements, contribute to the cause of building and preserving defend the Fatherland. After more than 26 years of re-establishing the province, Hung Yen from an agricultural province with difficult infrastructure has had comprehensive development and achieved many outstanding results in various fields. Average from 2020 to June 2023: The province's economic growth rate reaches 9.25%/year; economic structure shifts rapidly in the direction of increasing the proportion of industry and services. The province currently has 17 industrial parks and 26 industrial clusters. From the beginning of the 2020-2025 term until now, the province has attracted 188 new investment projects (146 domestic projects and 42 foreign projects) with a total registered investment capital of nearly 85 trillion VND and over 800 million VND. USD. Traffic and urban infrastructure have developed dramatically in both scale and quality. In 2022, the province's budget revenue will reach VND 51,410 billion (ranked in the top 10 provinces and cities with the highest revenue in the country). The fields of culture, society, education, training, and health are always interested in investment and development. Social security is guaranteed, people's lives are constantly being improved.

 

Along with performing the central task of socio-economic development, the Provincial Party Committee pays special attention to the key task of building the Party and the political system; regularly promote propaganda, political and ideological education, organize research and study, fully and deeply grasp the Party's lines and guidelines, policies and laws of the State in order to create high unity in the Party Committee and consensus among the people. In particular, in recent years, the Provincial Party Committee has made efforts to promote the study and follow-up of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style in association with the implementation of the 4th Central Resolution (XI, XII, XIII) on Party building and rectification, achieving many important results. The leadership capacity and combat power of party organizations and party members have been enhanced. The political system has been consolidated, becoming more and more effective and efficient.
