According to the reports of the units, the 500kV line project of Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi thermal power plant is one of the component projects of the 500kV line circuit 3 from Quang Trach to Pho Noi. The project is invested in building a new 500kV 2-circuit line, about 126.9km long, passing through 4 provinces: Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong and Hung Yen; of which, through Hung Yen province, it is about 7.26 km long, including 34 column foundation locations in My Hao town and Van Lam district.

To date, 34 column foundation locations have been handed over to contractors for construction with a total column foundation land area handed over of 4.06 hectares. For the route corridor, localities have handed over 26/26 sections to the investor. Localities are completing procedures to pay site clearance compensation and arrange resettlement for households whose residential land must be recovered to implement the project.
