Harmonious potential.

Implementing a two-tiered local government system, Tra Ly ward was established by reorganizing Hoang Dieu ward, Dong My, Dong Hoa, and Dong Tho communes (formerly Thai Binh city) and Dong Duong commune (formerly Dong Hung district). Tra Ly ward covers an area of nearly 21 square kilometers and has a population of nearly 44,000 people. The ward's Party Committee currently has 57 branches and 2,045 Party members. The five localities within Tra Ly ward have focused on socio-economic development by leveraging their strengths and exploiting existing potential. Despite numerous difficulties and challenges, these localities have achieved significant accomplishments in many areas during their development. Leveraging the advantages of rapid urbanization and the flexibility and resourcefulness of its residents, the commercial and service sectors in Tra Ly ward are developing rapidly. Currently, the ward has 134 businesses and production and trading establishments in the industrial sector, attracting and creating jobs and high incomes for over 6,000 workers. The ward also has the Gia Le Industrial Park, which has relatively well-developed infrastructure and is expected to attract 13 new investment projects between 2021 and 2025.

Localities have also maximized the potential of agriculture with outstanding agricultural production models such as the greenhouse gas emission reduction rice production area in Dong Tho commune (formerly); and the kumquat, peach, and ornamental plant growing areas in Dong Hoa, Dong Tho communes, and Hoang Dieu ward (formerly). These are favorable conditions for developing ecotourism and agricultural experiences. Furthermore, the ward is also a convergence point of unique traditional cultural values from local craft villages and festivals, creating a distinct identity and a solid foundation for the development of cultural tourism. Tra Ly Ward focuses on the planning and implementation of urban development. To date, the zoning plan has been largely completed, and many commercial housing, residential, and urban development projects have been implemented or have completed the selection of investors and the land clearance process, creating a breakthrough in urban construction and development.

New Belief, New Spirit, New Motivation

Embarking on a new journey with a new look brings new vitality and new determination. Mr. Vu Dinh Khoi, Head of Neighborhood Group No. 9, Tra Ly Ward, shared: "We expect the Party Committee and the government of Tra Ly Ward to have policies to promote socio-economic development, create more jobs for the people; the material and spiritual lives of the people will continue to develop significantly; and the movement to build a civilized urban area and ensure social order and safety will continue to receive attention." Along with that, infrastructure will be upgraded, especially transportation and public works, to meet development needs. In particular, focus will be placed on developing the area along the Tra Ly River to transform the landscape with livable, modern urban areas that meet the increasingly high demands of the people.

In line with the province's policy and direction on building a green and modern urban area along the Tra Ly River, localities have completed general planning and covered all sub-area planning; new urban areas have basically covered detailed planning, providing a basis for project implementation. Approximately 10 projects in the ward have received investment approval. This will be the foundation for the ward to steadily move towards its goal of becoming a cultural, entertainment, and recreation center, and attracting tourism development for the region and the province. Mr. Tran Le Huy, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Tra Ly Ward, said: The ward will focus on developing urban space along the Tra Ly River; building a transportation system connecting the area, main urban traffic routes, new urban areas, and green parks. It will continue to attract strategic, reputable, capable, and experienced investors to implement projects in the area, creating new value and new impetus for breakthrough development. In particular, we will attract investment projects to build high-quality commercial and service complexes, entertainment areas, supermarket systems, and hotels. We will strengthen the application of advanced science and technology, train and attract high-quality human resources to build and develop Tra Ly ward into a cultural, entertainment, and tourism center for the region and the province...
