Delegates cut ribbon to launch the second stage of Nestlé Bong Sen plant in Thang Long Industrial Park II
Together with the official completion of the second phase of Nestlé Bong Sen plant, the total investment capital of Nestlé in Hung Yen is 107 million Swiss francs (CHF). With this project, Nestlé Bong Sen plant will double its production capacity, meeting the growing demand of consumers for high quality nutritional products.
With the experience and prestige of Nestlé Switzerland, the world's largest food and beverage group with over 150 years of experience, the Nestlé Bong Sen plant not only guarantees the quality of products but also minimizes the impact on the environment by using renewable energy such as biomass and solar energy in production. With the principle of "Creating shared values" for partners participating in the value chain, Nestlé Vietnam always commits to improving the quality of life and contributing to a healthier future.
The Nestlé Bong Sen is the 6th plant of Nestlé Group in Vietnam and the second in Hung Yen. It is expected that by 2025, the investment enhancement activities will create about 600 direct job opportunities and thousands of indirect jobs, contributing to the overall socio-economic development of Hung Yen and the northern region. From 2017 to now, Nestlé Vietnam has increased its investment capital three times and expanded its operation in Hung Yen. In May 2017, Nestlé Vietnam inaugurated the Nestlé Bong Sen plant. In March, 2019, the company continued to build and put Nestlé Bong Sen Distribution Center into operation. In September, 2019, the company has completed the phase 2 of the investment project and doubled its production capacity after only 2 years of operation.
The Nestlé Bong Sen plant expansion project is a part of the Nestlé Vietnam strategy to further promote its leading position in nutrition, health and healthy living, especially in the Northern provinces.
