On January 12, at the provincial Labor Culture House, the provincial Confederation of Labor organized the program "Tet holiday 2019" for union members and workers in the province....

The program saw the attendance of Mr. Do Tien Sy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Tran Thanh Hai, Permanent Vice President of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, members of the Provincial Standing Committee; leaders of departments, agencies and branches of the province and hundreds of union members and workers working at enterprises and factories of industrial parks and clusters in the province.

In the program "Tet holiday 2019", union members and employees participated in exciting and meaningful activities, such as: Taking part in talkshow and cultural exchanges, answering quizzes related to the rights and legitimate interests of workers and lucky draws. At the program, 10 union members and workers in difficult circumstances were given the money to support the construction and repair of houses; 500 union members and employees were given gifts with the worth of 500 thousand VND for each one.

The program "Tet holiday 2019" is an annual activity held by the Provincial Labor Union to take care of life of union members and workers, especially those with difficult circumstances working at enterprises in the province. This activity brings the deep human meaning and it is an opportunity for union members and workers to share their thoughts and aspirations and for organizations, agencies and enterprises to show their care for workers and laborers, helping them feel secure to work and contribute to the overall development of the province.

Speaking at the program "Tet holiday 2019", Provincial Party Secretary Do Tien Sy highly appreciated the deep human meaning of the program and informed the delegates on the socio-economic development achievements of the province in 2018 including the contributions of businesses, union members and workers. He wished the trade unions at all levels continue to care and perform more practical activities to help union members, workers have a prosperous and happy life. At the same time to expect workers to abide by the workplace's regulations and strive to fulfill the assigned tasks.
