The meeting saw the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Thai Thanh Quy, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People'scouncil, head of the national assembly delegation of Nghe An province; Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades in the Provincial Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Thong. Speaking to kick off the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia showed his joy to receive the delegation of Nghe An standing party committee. Nghia gave an overview of the provincial socio-economic development situation in the past time. He also affirmed that experience exchange and development cooperation signing between Nghe An and Hung Yen are the important opportunity to tighten the partnership between the government, the party and the people of two provinces. He added that Hung Yen and Nghe An shared things in common in terms of socio-economic development; thus, two provinces could cooperate and work on many aspects.

He proposed that two leaders of the provinces would discuss and sign the MOU on the cooperation between Nghe An and Hung Yen for the period 2023-2025, and believed that this meeting would beef up the close, tight and emotional relationship between the Party, the government and the people of two provinces, at the same time, open more opportunities for two provinces, making the great contribution to the completion of party resolutions on levels.

Speaking at the meeting, the Secretary of Nghe An party committee, Thai Thanh Quy thanked the provincial leaders for receiving and working with the delegation of Nghe An province. He congratulated Hung Yen province on achievements gained in the past time and gave an overview of the socio-economic situation of Nghe An province and the orientations. He also wished to learn about experiences from Hung Yen side on investment attraction, industrial park development, new-style rural area building and party member development. He expected that the relationship between two provinces would be consolidated on all fields.

At the meeting, the secretaries of the party committees of the two provinces signed the MOU on the cooperation between Hung Yen province and Nghe An province for the 2023-2025 period, with the major content such as experience exchange on the Party and the political system building; cooperation on the cultural and tourism development; cooperation on development, manufacturing, processing and consumption of products; cooperation on the investment attraction, urban development; cooperation on digital transformation and administration reform.
