At the conference

According to the report of the Department of Health, from June 20, 2021 to now, the whole province has conducted a review of 29,689 people, in the whole province, 77 cases of Covid-19 infection have been recorded (Yen My: 51 cases; Khoai Chau: 08 cases, Kim Dong: 04 cases, An Thi: 07 cases, Tien Lu: 05 cases, Phu Cu: 01 case and 01 case in Gia Lam, Hanoi), there are 1,244 F1 cases, 10.175 F2 cases, 16,246 F3 cases. Currently, 20,264 people are being isolated (93 people at medical facilities; 192 people at provincial concentration areas; 1,214 people at district concentration areas; 63 people at hotels; 18,700 people at home and accommodation); the ones under health monitoring in the community: 71 people who have entered the country and finished their isolation; 1,877 foreigners); the 3rd phase of vaccination have been completed with 12,039 doses, the total accumulated over 3 rounds is 23,405 doses. The whole province is currently under lockdown at 30 points (Yen My: 10, Khoai Chau: 04, Kim Dong: 03, An Thi: 08, Tien Lu: 03, Phu Cu: 01, My Hao: 01).

At the conference, members of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Covid-19 Prevention and Control; leaders of districts, towns and city; leaders of departments and sectors reported the results of the Covid-19 prevention and control in the past time and pointed out limitations that need overcoming in the near future.

Speaking at the direction of the conference, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia, Provincial Party Secretary acknowledged the determination and efforts of agencies, units, localities and frontline forces in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. In the coming time, in order to control the epidemic quickly and effectively, while ensuring production, business, social stability and people's lives, the Provincial Party Secretary requested: Promote the effectiveness of the political system, mobilize the participation of the people, unify the view of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy" in the prevention and control of the Covid 19 epidemic; actively promote internal resources with the spirit: “prevention is fundamental, long-term strategy; fighting is important, drastic and quick”; strictly conduct the motto: “4 on the spot”; perform epidemic prevention and control in a proactive and active way for early detection of infected cases, epidemiological investigation, classification, screening, rapid and tight isolation, zoning, epidemic suppression, timely and effective treatment; uphold the discipline and responsibility of the heads; strictly carry out epidemic prevention and control measures under the direction of the Central, the Government, the province and the Steering Committee. He suggested that the province urgently make a plan to buy the vaccine against Covid 19 from social capital sources.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Covid-19 Prevention and Control requested: Health agencies need to accelerate speed of testing so that there is foundation to take further prevention measures; the Steering Committees at the grassroots need to be more drastic in the epidemic prevention; the military sector reviewes the isolation facilities in terms of material conditions, the number of hospital beds; the Standing Board of the Steering Committee advises the establishment of the epidemic prevention and control inspection teams at facilities with patients and the high-risk ones; the police branch set up checkpoints at the entry places to the province for long-distance driving and cargo transportation; promote a higher role in the implementation of tracing; the Management Board of the Industrial Parks of the province and localities need to better coordinate in case it is necessary to perform a blockade at enterprises; encourage businesses to test for workers and employees; unions and Fatherland Front have strengthened propaganda and mobilized the people to further raise their awareness and responsibility in the epidemic prevention and control./.
