At the meeting, participants discussed and commented on the following draft documents: the Resolution of the Provincial People's Council stipulating the level of subsidies and supports for a number of social protection beneficiaries in the province; Hung Yen program on environmental protection and climate change adaptation in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030; the Report on demand for sand in Hung Yen province in the period of 2021-2030 and implementation solutions; the Resolution of the Provincial Standing Committee on the project to improve the efficiency of irrigational systems and clean water supply in Hung Yen province in the period of 2021-2025, with an orientation to 2030; the Report on the difficulties and problems in receiving investment projects; the Report on the results of experiences exchange on performing projects of industrial zones and clusters in Bac Giang and Hai Phong.

Through listening to the reports and opinions of the participants, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van concluded as follows: For the program on environmental protection and climate change adaptation in Hung Yen province in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment is required to absorb the comments, in which it is necessary to clearly assess the current situation of environmental protection and climate change adaptation in the province in recent years such as: the current state of surface water sources; the current situation of wastewater from industrial parks and clusters, the projects outside industrial zones and clusters, craft villages and residential areas; from there, offering solutions for wastewater treatment inside industrial zones and clusters and outside the industrial parks and clusters, craft villages and households; completing the document for the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial Standing Committee.

For the project to improve the efficiency of the irrigational system and clean water supply system in Hung Yen province in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is requested to clearly evaluate the status of irrigational works, including public investment projects in irrigation. Regarding the clean water issue, it is necessary to clearly assess the percentage of households using clean water and the current status of clean water works in the province. Regarding the proposal, to focus on the following contents: To continue to socialize, receive investment projects with sufficient capacity for clean water supply; auction of clean water projects invested by the State; the roadmap for using surface water in the period of 2021-2025.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Department of Planning and Investment to correct and complete the Report on difficulties and problems in receiving investment projects; the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to complete the Report on demand for sand in Hung Yen province in the period of 2021-2030 and implementation solutions for the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial Standing Committee.

Through the practical experience of Bac Giang province and Hai Phong city in developing industrial zones and clusters, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee asked departments and branches to actively participate in planning and developing Hung Yen’s industrial parks and clusters, speeding up the reduction of administrative procedures to create favorable conditions for investors to invest in the province; requested the Office of the Provincial People's Committee to complete the report on experiences exchange for the Provincial People's Committee to report to the Provincial Standing Committee.
