Delegates attend the handover ceremony

At the handover ceremony, the representative of the Office of the National Assembly announced the Resolution No. 1004/2020/UBTVQH14 dated September 18, 2020 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on the establishment and regulation of positions, functions, tasks and rights, organizational structure of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; the Decision of the Chairman of the Office of the National Assembly on the transfer of 5 civil servants and 3 contract workers of the Office of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly from the Office of the National Assembly to the Provincial People's Committee. Then, the representative of the Department of Home Affairs' leaders announced the Resolution No. 358/NQ-HDND dated March 22, 2021 of the 16th Provincial People's Council in the 16th session on the establishment of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council; the Decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee on the reception and transfer of civil servants and contract workers of the Office of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly.

Accordingly, 5 civil servants and 3 contract workers of the Office of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly were transferred from the Office of the National Assembly to the Provincial People's Committee. The Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council was established on the basis of merging the Office of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly and the Office of the Provincial People's Council; it has the position and function of an agency equivalent to the Department, and directly under the leadership and direction of the Head and Deputy Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly and the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, and the function of advising, supporting and serving activities of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vice Chairwoman of the Office of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thuy Ngan and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van suggested: Leaders, civil servants, employees of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council continue to unite and perform well the assigned tasks; pay attention to and develop working regulations, prescribe functions and tasks of specialized divisions, at the same time assigning tasks to cadres and civil servants in accordance with their capacity, strength and job position; follow assigned functions and tasks, develop working programs and plans timely and appropriately; continue to renew and improve the advisory work, serve the activities of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly and the Provincial People's Council; continue to maintain close contact with the Office of the National Assembly to advise on the organization and effective implementation of activities of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly... In the immediate future, to actively advise and coordinate to successfully organize the election to deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 period.
