Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duy Hung reported to the delegation that the Committees for the Advancement of Women at all levels in the province regularly consolidated and strengthened. The units and localities have thoroughly grasped and strictly performed the plan of gender equality and for the advancement of women in the implementation of assigned political tasks.
Hung Yen women participate strongly and contribute positively to the socio-economic development. The rate of women participating in the provincial Party committees for the term 2015 - 2020 is 18.87%, seeing an increase of 4.78% as compared to the previous term. The women participating in the Provincial People's Council for the period of 2016 - 2021 account for 18.87%. The rate of women in leadership positions at provincial level is 20.69%.
