According to the report on the implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first 6 months of the year and the main tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2021 of the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee presented by Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Ngoc Quynh affirmed that the province has effectively performed the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, ensuring a safe environment for production and business activities and successfully organized the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 period.

In the first 6 months of 2021, the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) increased by 5.75%. Total budget revenue is estimated to reach at 9,100 billion VND (getting 66.9% of the plan), of which domestic revenue is estimated to attain at 7,200 billion VND. The province has completed the set of criteria for the model new rural residential area for the period of 2021 - 2025. Up to now, the province has 8 residential areas recognized as model new rural residential areas. The fields of culture, health, education and social security policy are concerned. Administrative reform has made many progress. Military, local defense are guaranteed. Political security, social order and safety are maintained.

In the last 6 months of 2021, the province continues to focus on seriously implementing groups of tasks and solutions to effectively realize the dual goal of preventing and controlling the Covid-19 epidemic and promoting the socio-economic development. To focus on carrying out measures for crop production... To support enterprises, production and business establishments to innovate business activities through the form of e-commerce. To continue to improve the environment, promote investment attraction. To speed ​​up the provincial planning process. To focus on exploiting well the revenue sources, ensuring the correct, sufficient and timely collection into the state budget. To focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in investment procedures and site clearance to speed up the construction progress of infrastructure projects...

Next, Mr. Dang Ngoc Quynh, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported to the Provincial Party Executive Committee on the investment policy of a number of public investment projects in the period of 2021 - 2025; Mr. Nguyen Hung Nam, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee reported the draft Resolution on the transport development program of Hung Yen province in the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030.

Under the direction of Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the delegates discussed and assessed the results of the socio-economic development in the first 6 months of the year, the necessary solutions to achieve the target of the last 6 months plan of 2021; the projects under the public investment policy in the period of 2021 - 2025; Hung Yen province's transport development goals for the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030...

On the basis of the ideas discussed at the conference, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van acknowledged many comments of the delegates on solutions to carry out the task of the socio-economic development in the last 6 months of the year as well as the policies that the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee presented at the conference. After the policies were approved, the Deputy Party Secretary, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that relevant sectors and localities should focus on concretizing to propose specific and appropriate solutions to implement effectively the tasks of the last 6 months of the year, as well as the whole year of 2021 and throughout the period of 2021 - 2025...

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Do Tien Sy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the 19th Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of the National Assembly, General Director of Radio The Voice of Vietnam, in charge of the Party Committee of the province, affirmed that : The programs and policies discussed at the conference are very important and meaningful to promote the socio-economic development in the province. In order for the above guidelines to be concretized soon, he suggested that all levels and branches in the province should continue to unite and reach a high level of unity to soon issue specific programs and projects; the province needs to actively mobilize all resources to effectively implement programs and projects when they are issued.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council highly appreciated the contributions of the delegates to the conference. The delegates highly agreed, unanimously approved the investment policy of a number of public investment projects in the period of 2021 - 2025; Hung Yen province's transport development program for the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030; the implementation of the socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of the year, the tasks and solutions to focus on performing in the last 6 months of 2021. He affirmed that the policies adopted at the conference played a very important meaning, connecting and promoting the socio-economic development in the province. The Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to direct relevant localities and units to concretize the transport development program for the 2021-2025 period, in which to continue to review and adjust the master plan on transport development to meet current requirements; invest in upgrading traffic routes.

Regarding tasks and solutions for the socio-economic development in the last 6 months of the year, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council emphasized a number of key tasks as follows: The whole political system continues to seriously and effectively perform the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; focus on conducting the agricultural restructuring program associated with the construction of advanced new rural areas, model new rural areas, the program on industrial and handicraft development in Hung Yen province in the 2021-2025 period, at the same time speeding up the planning of the provincial urban development program; the Provincial housing development program in the period of 2021 - 2025; continue to create favorable conditions to promote the development of trade and services; support and control e-commerce activities in the context of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control; continue to innovate and improve the quality of comprehensive education; well perform preventive health work; carry out the plan of vaccination against Covid-19; take care of people's lives, ensure social security work; strengthen the state management of the environment, focus on handling environmental pollution spots in residential areas...

To accomplish those goals and tasks, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council suggested the members of the Provincial Party Committee, heads of departments, branches, mass organizations and socio-political organizations to uphold the sense of responsibility, focus on leading, directing and administering well the proposed tasks and solutions. In the immediate future, well organize the first meeting of the Provincial People's Council, term 17; actively make efforts to well organize activities towards the 190th founding anniversary of the province; 80 years of establishment of the Provincial Party Committee and 25 years of re-establishment of the province.
