The pagoda was built in Dinh dynasty, and small at the beginning. Over times, the pagoda was destroyed. Until 1997, the authority and local people restored the pagoda in I-shaped architecture including the 5-compartmentand two-gable front hallbuilt in the fake ancient architecture; the truss set built in dougong style. "Ong muong" house consists of 2 compartments. 'Thuong dien' is 3 compartments structured multiple layers with 2 floors and 8 roofs. Here arranges the Buddhist statue system. The left of the main worshipping zone is the new ancestral house built in 1999 structured 7 compartments in dougong style.
Now, the pagoda is keeping valuable artifacts such as the wood Buddhist system, the stone incense bowl dated in Le dynasty and the parallel sentences. Nestling near historic relic sites are red addresses educating revolution and patriotism tradition such as the General Nguyen Thien Thuat memorial house, Hoang Ngan female guerilla brigade memorial house and Vu Thi Kinh hero of the people's armed forced.
