The 500kV circuit 3 line project was assigned by EVN to the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) as the investor. The project includes 4 component projects: Quang Trach - Quynh Luu 500kV line; 500kV Quynh Luu - Thanh Hoa line; 500kV line of Nam Dinh I thermal power plant - Thanh Hoa; 500kV line of Nam Dinh I - Pho Noi thermal power plant. The project has a total length of about 519km with 1,177 column foundation positions, total investment of about 22,300 billion VND. The project passes through 211 communes and wards of 43 districts and towns in 9 provinces including Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, Hai Duong, Hung Yen.
