Summary of foreign directed investment projects in the provincial industrial parks until the end of June 2022

Until the end of June 2022, in the provincial industrial parks, there are 211 enterprises having foreign directed investments (FDI) with 270 valid projects having the total investment capital of USD 5,365 million, namely 268 secondary investments with total registered capital of USD 5,067 million and 02 industrial parks' infrastructureinvestment projects with the registered capital of USD 298 million. Total land rent by the secondary FDI projects in industrial parks is 545 hectares....

Currently, 20 countries and territories register to implement projects in industrial parks in the province. Japan is the largest investor with 142 projects and the registered capital is usd 3,526.3, occupying 52.6% of the number of projects and 65.7% of the investment capital. Korea ranks the second with 48 projects and the registered capital is USD 618.4 million, taking up 17.8% of the number of projects and 11.5% of the investment capital. China ranked the third with 28 projects having the registered capital of USD 356.2 million, accounting for 10.4% of the number of projects and 6.6% of the registered capital. Hong Kong follows with 16 projects, Singapore implements 7 projects.

Some major sectors and industries of FDI projects in industrial parks of the province such as electronic production, computers and optical products; rubber and plastic products; car manufacturing and other motor vehicles.

Until the end of June 2022, in industrial parks of the province, there are 247 FDI projects putting into operation namely 246 secondary projects and 01 project of industrial park's infrastructure investment. Total number of laborers is about 6,000.
