In the evening of May 19, at Nguyen Van Linh Square (Hung Yen City), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee solemnly organized the Art Exchange Program with the theme"Hung Yen - Consistent with Uncle Ho’s teachings”. ...

The Art Exchange Program saw the attendance of: Mr. Vo Van Thuong, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission for Communications and Education; General To Lam, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security; Senior Lieutenant-General Pham Thanh Ngan, former Member of the Politburo, former Head of General Political Department of the People Army of Vietnam; members of the Party Central Committee; representatives of leaders of departments, ministries, central branches and some provinces and cities; military generals and police officers are children of Hung Yen's homeland.

The program has attendance of Hung Yen delegates with:  Mr. Do Tien Sy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the provincial National Assembly delegation; Mr. Do Xuan Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the former leaders of Hung Yen province through the periods; Members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the various sections of the people.

The program opened with special art program to welcome the acts of praising venerable Uncle Ho, the glory of Party, the love of the homeland and the country.  Those songs recreate the image of the land and people of Hung Yen are rich civilized, revolutionary tradition as well as overcoming difficulties and challenges, and build our homeland on the way of renewal according to Uncle Ho’s teachings.

Speaking at the opening of the Art Exchange Program, the Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Do Tien Sy emphasized:  President Ho Chi Minh, when he was alive, always gave special affection to the Party Committee, government, army and people of Hung Yen province.  From 1946 to 1966, he visited Hung Yen 10 times; wrote 14 letters to visit, encourage Hung Yen officials and people; he had 20 times to sign the commendation award for the collective and awarded his Badges to 67 individuals who were living, studying and working in Hung Yen with outstanding achievements in fighting, working, studying and and forging training. 

Such affection and concern had become a great source of motivation, encouraging, encouraging Hung Yen's Party, government, army and people in revolutionary periods.  In 50 years of carrying out the sacred will and his instructions in 10 visits, Hung Yen has united and strived to overcome all difficulties and challenges, winning many important achievements in the cause of building and safeguarding our homeland.  Studying and following Uncle Ho’s teachings is closely organized, main point focused, it is a regular and profound political activity in the whole Provincial Party Committee.  Hung Yen, with the pride of being the native land of the mother of President Ho Chi Minh, and of the General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, is promoting the cultural tradition, revolution and achievements in the process of renovation. The Provincial Party Committee, government and people of Hung Yen province continue to unite and strive to strengthen the construction of a clean and strong Party Committee; promote all resources and synergy of the entire people; promote investment attraction and rapid socio-economic development; ensuring national defense and security; creating a foundation for Hung Yen to soon become a prosperous, civilized industrial province.

Next, delegates were able to interact with witnesses who had met Uncle Ho, typical generals and outstanding individuals, representing typical collectives in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics and lifestyle, including:  Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Phiet, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, Former Deputy Commander on Politics of the Air Defense - Air Force; Ms. Truong Thi Tam, Dong Ket commune (Khoai Chau), People's Armed Forces hero; Mr. Pham Thi Tuyen, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Commission for Mass Mobilization, Chairman of the Provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Tran Thi Thuy, teacher of Duc Hop High School (Kim Dong district), one of the top 50 honored global teachers in 2019 voted by Varkey Foundation, honored by the Standing Committee of the Youth Union as “The young excellent teacher school year 2018 - 2019 ”.

Implementation of the Directive 05-CT/TW by the Politburo (12th tenure) on acceleration of studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics and lifestyle, the Provincial Standing Party Committee issued the Plan No. 104 -KH / TU on May 22, 2018 to organize the Competition "Composing literary and journalistic works on the topic of Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics and lifestyle" 2018 in Hung Yen province.  After 1 year of launching, there were 127 works in the field of literature and journalism participating in the competition.  Through the preliminary and final rounds, the Organizing Committee has selected 27 outstanding works to win prizes (9 B prizes, 7 C prizes and 11 consolation prizes).  On this occasion, the Organizing Committee has awarded prizes to authors of winning works.  Also in the Art Exchange Program, the Organizing Committee has released the book "Generals of Hung Yen province in Ho Chi Minh era".

The Art Exchange Program is a practical activity to commemorate the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Birthday (19.5.1890 - 19.5.2019), 50 years of Uncle Ho's writing “Enhancing revolutionary morality, wiping out individualism", 50 years of implementing the Uncle Ho’s Will associated with 10 times of his visit to Hung Yen.  Through the program, it is necessary to further disseminate information to officials, party members, armed forces and the people in the province to fully and deeply understand Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and life styles; Uncle Ho's affection towards the Party Committee, the armed forces and people of Hung Yen, as well as the sentiment of the people and the armed forces of Hung Yen to Uncle Ho through his visits to Hung Yen; acknowledging, honoring authors, a contingent of writers, artists, journalists and literary and valuable works on the topic of learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thoughts, morality and life style; preserving historical documents, honoring and appreciating the great contributions of military and police generals.  Thereby, it is to mobilize officials, party members, people and provincial armed forces to emulate and raise the sense of responsibility and exemplary as well as well fulfill the assigned responsibilities and tasks.
