An Xa temple (also called Dau An) is located in An Xa village, An Vien commune (Tien Lu district). The temple was built to worship Ngoc Hoang thuong de, Ngu Lao Tien Ong and fairies who exploited this wild swamp, eliminatedfierce animals and taught farmers to do agriculture. An Xa temple is not only high valued through its ancient architecture and beautiful scenery but also through typical artifacts such as baked clay tower; baked clay statue base; bonze bell…They are cultural heritages and valuable history resources to researchers as studying the relics, attractions and worshipping rituals of fairies.

With special values as above, artistic architecture of An Xa temple was recognized as the national special relic (according to the Decision ref 2280/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2020. An Xa baked clay tower was recognized as national treasure (according to the Decision ref 2198/QDD-TTg dated Dec. 25, 2021 of the Prime minister about the recognition of national treasure).

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Quoc Van suggested: In order to preserve, promote the cultural value of the special national relic of An Xa temple and national treasure of baked clay tower; in the coming time, functional sectors of the province, the party committee and the government of Tien Lu district should enhance the management of cultural heritages, cultural and historical relics attached with the development of tourism for the 2020-2025 period with the vision to 2030; focus on making the general planning of the relic system in the district and An Xa temple in particular. At the same time, the People's Committee of Tien Lu district should urgently consolidate the management board of An Xa temple. The department of Culture, Sports and Tourism should study, survey and build the scientific profile of the artifact in An Xa temple and suggest the Prime Minister to recognize it as the national treasure in 2022; submit the profile to suggest the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to put An Xa temple festival in the list of national intangible assets in 2023; focus on building the tourism products and souvenir products; build the routes connecting to attractions in the district and the province in order to develop An Xa temple into the renowned attraction to tourists inside and outside the province.

Mr. Tran Quoc Van and delegates offered incense at An Xa temple. An Xa temple traditional festival (Dau An festival) takes place from the 1st to 12th of April on the Lunar calendar, in which the main content is on the 6th, 7th and 8th day.
