The whole working session

 


At the working session, delegates listened to the overview of the provincial socio-economic situation and strengths in investment attraction in the past time.

The representative of the Taiwanese electronics enterprises delegation thanked Hung Yen province for creating favorable conditions during their learning about the investment environment of the province;and briefed the business condition of Taiwanese electronics enterprises.Currently, Taiwanese electronics enterprises are planning to expand investment in Vietnam, including Hung Yen province.According to their survey, Taiwanese enterprises find that Hung Yen has various potentials to develop investment.Thus, the delegation wished to learn about privileged policies in investment attraction.

Mr. Tran Quoc Van gave an overview on the business situations of industrial parks in the province.He stressed that the province was investing on the traffic infrastructure, the electrical and water infrastructure to satisfy the operation of industrial parks.In addition, the province is focusing on the housing system, services to ensure the living demand of engineers and workers working in the industrial parks.The vocational agencies in the province are gradually ramping up the training quality of high-skilled workers to supply labors to enterprises.The Provincial Chairman expected Taiwanese enterprises would make investment into the province soon.The province always creates favorable conditions for enterprises throughout the process of investment and operation.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Pham Tan Cong, chairman of VCCI, said that Vietnam and Taiwan resembled in culture and society; hence, investment cooperation would have many advantages.That Taiwanese electronics enterprises come to examine the investment environment in Hung Yen province is a foundation to beef up the cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan (China). Hung Yen is valued as a good province in investment environment; therefore, foreign enterprises would like to learn about and make plans for investment.The chairman of VCCI hoped that after the working session, Taiwanese electronics enterprises would choose Hung Yen province as their investment destinations in the coming time.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia introduced some strengths in investment attraction and the development plan of the province in the coming time.Hung Yen province maintains its orientations on three pillars namelyeconomy, society and environment.Therefore, the province's stance is filtering investors, concentrating on key industries including electronics industry.Hung Yen will be the destinations of major investors.Basically, it can meet criteria of Taiwanese electronics enterprises and is willing to receive them in the coming time.The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also believed that the partnership between Hung Yen province and Taiwan would be tightened.

At the working session, the provincial leaders answered some questions from Taiwanese delegates such asrental land duration, land rents, provincial policies in the investment process,and directed heads of departments, sectors and industrial park infrastructure investors to work with Taiwanese electronics enterprises in the learning process on the provincial investment environment.

Previously, Taiwanese electronics enterprises delegation did survey on site at the Industrial Park No. 5.
