In order to contribute to the effective implementation of the Project to develop concentrated fruit, flower and ornamental tree production areas in Hung Yen province in the period 2020-2025, in 2024, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center has implemented a number of agricultural extension model and highly effective for farmers to learn from experience and replicate. In particular, the gladiolus flower production model was implemented in August 2024 with a scale of 1.5 hectares deployed in Hong Quang commune (An Thi) and Lam Son ward (Hung Yen city). Up to now, the area planted with gladiolus is in a strong growth model, high survival rate, large stem diameter, low pest infection rate, good adaptability to farming conditions as well as resistance to diseases. The automatic sprinkler irrigation model for fruit trees with a scale of 6 hectares deployed in communes: Duc Hop, Dong Thanh (Kim Dong), Dai Tap (Khái Chau) has met sufficient and timely moisture for Crops grow well; The system helps save water, facilitates plant absorption of nutrients, does not cause leaching or soil degradation, reduces environmental pollution, saves labor and labor costs, can be combined with fertilizer. fertilizer for plants. Plants are provided with adequate and timely water at important stages, so plants grow and develop well, limit pests and diseases, yield, quality, and fruit appearance are more beautiful than outside the model, reducing the use of pesticides. It is expected that fruit tree productivity will increase by about 10-15% compared to before using the automatic sprinkler irrigation method. In addition, the model is a premise for specialized units in the province to develop technical processes for growing fruit trees and other crops in a high-tech direction, suitable to the province's soil conditions.

 

Along with the above models, in 2024, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center will deploy the VietGAP fruit tree intensive farming model with a scale of 65 hectares, at 13 deployment points (13 production areas) to develop , expanding the area of ​​the province's key fruit trees certified to meet VietGAP standards, creating products with quality standards, ensuring food safety, meeting market requirements, contributing to protecting health for producers and consumers. The organization of VietGAP certification associated with building private brands for agricultural products of organizations and individuals has created favorable conditions to link the production, processing and consumption of safe products according to VietGAP standards
