Yen My district has well implemented the socio-economic development targets; many targets have been achieved and exceeded the figures in the district Party Congress plan for the term 2015-2020. The average annual economic growth rate is 14%. Industrial production is identified as the breakthrough, becoming a driving force for socio-economic development. The whole district has 5 industrial parks, attracting 323 projects; 3 trading villages are preserved. The district has converted 728.3 hectares to grow trees having high economic value. 100% of communes in the district are recognized to meet new rural standards. Income per capita reached VND 82 million per person per year. Cultural and social fields are paid much attention; social security is guaranteed; the rate of poor households is only 1.58%.

Up to now, Yen My district has 38 out of 46 local party committees and party cells organizing the congress for the term of 2020-2025; 100% of party cells under party committees have organized the congress for the term of 2020-2025.

Preparation for the Congress of the Party Deputies of Yen My district in term of 2020-2025 was implemented according to regulations and plans. The district has issued the correspondences; established the teams to prepare for the congress; accomplished the political report and the review report of the Party Executive committee of the district to ask the party cells for comments. At the same time, the district actively collects information of party members and people, directs the handling of letters, complaints and denunciations. The district will organize the party congress for the term of 220-2025 in July 2020

Speaking at the working session, the standing secretary of the party committee Nguyen Duy Hung noted that Yen My district needed to implement some tasks in the coming time: Complete the general planning of socio-economic development of the district; publicize the planning so that people and enterprises can get access; focus on administration reform and attract investment in the locality; well implement the state administration in land; build infrastructure and develop urban areas; make the sustainable strategies in state budget collection; urgently implement the solutions for waste treatment and environment protection; convert the tree and animal structure; complete the criteria for new-style rural area; well implement the training and staff rotation…

Regarding the organization of the 24^th Party Congress of the district, term 2020-2025, the Standing deputy secretary of the provincial party committee requested that the party committee of the district would build the congress document; identify the limitations of the locality in order to suggest the solutions in the following term; completely handle the complaints and denunciations related to the congress.
