This year, favorable early-season weather conditions have enabled lychee trees to produce exceptional yields with superior quality, attractive appearance, and uniform characteristics. Currently, lychee cultivation is concentrated in Phu Cu and An Thi districts, covering nearly 1,400 hectares, with the 2025 production estimated to reach 25,000 tons. The majority of lychee cultivation areas adhere to VietGAP standards and organic farming practices, ensuring product quality and food safety. Many cultivation areas have been granted regional cultivation codes for export to markets including the United States, Japan, and the European Union.
Hung Yen egg lychees are favored by many consumers
The Hung Yen Lychee Fair 2025 aims to promote products, create opportunities for exchange and connection, and disseminate the value of early-ripening Phu Cu hybrid lychees and Hung Yen egg lychees to both domestic and international consumers. Furthermore, the fair serves as a platform for cooperatives, garden operators, and enterprises to engage in dialogue and gather consumer feedback, enabling them to progressively improve product appearance, quality, and service delivery methods, with the ultimate goal of building sustainable and professional agricultural product brands.
