In order for the OCOP Program to be implemented with good results, together with the direction and administration; propaganda activities are actively coordinated to carry out by all levels of government, associations, unions, organizations, individuals and professional sectors. Of which, 24,800 leaflets and 2,970 manuals, providing guidance on the OCOP Program have been distributed. To organize and integrate propaganda on the contents of the OCOP Program for more than 4,000 turns of production staff and subjects; organize 30 training courses and 2 conferences and seminars on the OCOP Program for 4,270 people who are members of steering committees, helping groups at provincial and district levels, commune officials, and producers; 12 online conferences on OCOP product development, digital transformation, OCOP product e-commerce portal, online sales, market development...

With the implemented solutions, by the end of 2022, the whole province has evaluated, ranked and recognized 199 OCOP products, of which 157 products are 3-star products and 42 products are 4-star products (in which there is a potential 5-star recommended product). There are 76 subjects participating in the evaluation, rating and recognition of OCOP products, including 43 cooperatives, 12 enterprises, 7 cooperative groups and 14 production establishments (business households).

In order to promote and encourage manufacturers to expand their product development scale, apply advanced science and technology, build brands, design product packaging, departments, branches and localities have many supporting programs, projects and models. In which, supporting 15 models of developing and upgrading OCOP products for manufacturers in terms of machinery, equipment and infrastructure. To support the establishment of 167 new agricultural cooperatives, 128 new agricultural cooperative groups; support to build 4 cooperative models for production development and product consumption linkage. The Department of Industry and Trade cooperates with districts, town and city to support the construction of 7 points to introduce and sell OCOP products in the province; support production entities with traceability stamps, product packaging, online marketing applications. Departments, branches and localities promote branding and product branding. Up to now, the whole province has supported the registration of intellectual property rights protection for 31 key and specific products.

In trade promotion and advertisement of OCOP products, the whole province supports producers to participate in more than 50 conferences, seminars, forums, fairs... to introduce and promote OCOP products, thereby contributing to increasing competitiveness in the market and initially exporting a number of OCOP products. Typically: Hung Yen longan is exported to the US market; turmeric powder of Hoang Minh Chau Hung Yen Co., Ltd to Japan, Middle East, China; lotus seeds, longan of Lai Hoai Co., Ltd. to China market...

In the period of 2018 - 2022, the total budget for the implementation of the OCOP Program is more than 2,753 billion VND, of which the provincial budget supports directly and through projects at over 26 billion VND; mobilizing funds from investors to purchase machines, equipment, transport infrastructure, application of packaging science and technology, and trademarks of more than VND 2,727 billion.

The OCOP program has aroused the potential and strengths of localities in developing specialty products associated with the advantages of production conditions, raw material areas and traditional culture to increase the value of OCOP products. The whole province has 25 OCOP products that have effectively exploited the local raw material area, associated with geographical indications and certification marks such as: Hung Yen longan, Chi Tan turmeric (Khoai Chau), Khoai Chau King Kong banana, early-ripening hybrid litchi of Phu Cu, Hung Yen Trung lychee, Hung Yen longan... To gradually convert small-scale production to VietGAP production, in the direction of value chain linkage, associated with the role of cooperatives and enterprises; contributing to promoting the formation of 180 models of production and consumption of products. In addition, the OCOP Program creates more jobs, increases incomes for rural workers, and boosts up sustainable development of the rural economy. After being recognized, OCOP products have added value, creating favorable conditions for entities to increase production scale and revenue. According to the assessment, about 60% of the producers with products of 3 stars or more have an average revenue increase of about 16%/year, seeing an average increase in selling price of about 12%; the consumption market is expanding. OCOP products are promoted, introduced and sold on e-commerce platforms such as Lazada.vn, Shopee.vn, Sendo.vn, Voso.vn, on social networking sites such as Zalo, Facebook... from which expanding and diversifying the number of customers, markets, and enhancing brand value. The OCOP program contributes to preserving and promoting traditional craft villages, craft villages and cultural values for rural economic development. The trend of OCOP products associated with rural tourism and craft village tourism models is gradually being implemented in some localities.
