At the working session, the representative of Nestlé Vietnam Ltd. reported the overview of its performance in the past time. Nestlé is a big group in food and drink industry having its head quarter in Switzerland. In 1995, Nestlé Vietnam was born, with 100% of foreign capital and the total investment capital of USD 540 million.

Nestlé has now developed 6 factories in Vietnam, in which 4 factories are under the management of Nestlé Vietnam Ltd. that manufactures food and drinks in Dong Nai province and Hung Yen province.

During its operation in Hung Yen province, Nestlé Vietnam Ltd. has organized a lot of social activities and charity activities in the local area. In 2019, the company will invest two more production lines of USD 20 million, raising the total investment capital to USD 90 million and creating jobs for more than 500 laborers. The company kindly asks for more assistance for the coming expansion process.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong agreed on the expansion plan of the company and highly appreciated its cooperation with Vietnamese government and Hung Yen province in the implementation of the project on the improvement of physical strength and stature of Vietnamese people in the period of 2011-2030.

The chairman of the provincial People's Committee wished that the company would offer more programs of social assistance in the local area, create more jobs for provincial laborers and always accompany the province in the improvement of physical strength and stature of the local people. The Chairman also hoped that the company would introduce other enterprises to invest into the province in the coming time.
