Minister of Public Security and members of the delegation offered flowers at the Monument of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh 

At the Monument of General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, Minister of Public Security To Lam and the provincial leaders commemorated and expressed respect and gratitude to General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, who is an indomitable communist soldier; a consistent and creative leader; a shining moral example of revolution; the brilliant son of Hung Yen province who initiated and led the reform of the country together with the Party. After the flowers offering ceremony, Minister of Public Security To Lam and the provincial leaders planted memorial trees in the Monument’s yard.

After that, Minister of Public Security To Lam visited and worked with the Provincial Police. At the working session, leaders of the Provincial Police reported the situation of security and order in 2017 and during the Lunar New Year 2018. In 2017, thanks to intensive leadership and guidance of the Ministry of Public Security, the Provincial Party Committee, the provincial People's Council and the provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Police has promoted its major role to well perform the task of ensuring security and order. Types of crimes and social evils were controlled and prevented. The number of criminal cases decreased by 7.95%. The results of crime investigation and detection reached 87.5%. The effectiveness and efficiency of State management in the fields of traffic order and safety, fire prevention and fighting, settlement of complaints and denunciations and reception of citizens was strengthened. The quality of the consulting and building of the Party, the force and the movement of all people in protection of the national security was better. During the Lunar New Year 2018, the Provincial Police has directed the units and localities to maintain security and order, mobilize people to submit weapons, explosives, support tools and fireworks and ensure traffic safety, fire and explosion prevention and fighting so that people would welcome Tet festival and the spring in excitement and safety. 

Speaking at the working session, Minister of Public Security To Lam highly appreciated the achievements of Hung Yen Police in the past time and required: In the coming time, the Provincial Police should continue to build a healthy and strong force; take initiative in controlling the situation and promptly advise the Party committees and authorities in directing effectively the implementation of security and order assurance in order to serve the socio-economic development tasks; improve the effectiveness of prevention, fighting and suppression of criminal offenses, reduce crimes, especially the drug crimes; ensuring internal political security, cultural and ideology security, information security, network security, economic and financial security; enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the State management of public security and order, ensuring traffic safety and paying attention to the material and spiritual life of officials and soldiers. 

On this occasion, Minister of Public Security To Lam presented gifts to the Provincial Police; offered incenses at the Memorial House of the People's Armed Forces Hero Bui Thi Cuc and planted memorial trees at the Provincial Police.
