According to the aggregate of the People’s Committee of Hung Yen city, the city now has 1,100 hectares of longan, concentrated in communes such as Hong Nam commune, Phuong Chieu commune, Tan Hung commune, Lam Son commune. Now the main-season longan is in the stage of young fruit; some early-ripening longan areas can be harvested. The total longan yield is expected at 11,000 tons, 3,000 tons higher than the longan season in 2019.
