Delegates admire the display stall of Hung Yen egg-shaped litchi at the fair
This year, the litchi fair drew 50 stalls of enterprises, collectives, and gardens throughout the province. There are 30 stalls introducing and selling fresh litchi, 20 stalls introducing and selling provincial OCOP products, and typical agro-products .
Delegates cut the ribbon to kick off Hung Yen Litchi Fair 2024
Today, the province has over 1.3 hectares of growing Phu Cu early-ripening litchi and Hung Yen egg-shaped litchi, concentrating in Phu Cu district and Da Loc commune (An Thi district). Some litchi growing areas in the province are granted the growing area codes for export to Japanese, Korean, and European markets. Hung Yen egg-shaped litchi's selling price at the fair ranged from VND 180,000 to VND 200,000 per kilo; Phu Cu early-ripening litchi was sold at VND 40,000 to VND 50,00 per kilo. On the opening day, the fair attracted 600 visitors to enjoy and buy fresh litchi and other typical agro-products of the province.
