On behalf of the Kanagawa Prefecture’s delegation, Mr. Horie Noriyuki, member of Kanagawa Prefecture’s Council, thanked the province for supporting the businesses of Kanagawa Prefecture to invest in the province. Up to now, there have been 5 enterprises of Kanagawa Prefecture, which have started their production and business activities in Thang Long Industrial Park II and Pho Noi A Industrial Park. During the working visit in Hung Yen province, a number of Kanagawa Prefecture’s enterprises want to understand the investment environment of the province to promote the investment and cooperation in the area.

Speaking at the working session, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong introduced the history; the socio-economic development and the strengths in investment attraction of the province. He said that based on the memorandum of understanding on the economic exchange between Hung Yen province and Kanagawa Prefecture, over the past time, the province has given many policies to support businesses in Kanagawa Prefecture in particular and Japanese enterprises in general to invest in the locality. Japanese enterprises have contributed to the economic development, improving the quality of social security and creating jobs for the province's laborers.

Based on the memorandum of understanding between two provinces, the Chairman of the provincial People's Committee hopes that in the coming time, there will be many businesses of Kanagawa Prefecture investing in the province. At the same time, the delegation is requested to have a specific document on the contents that they wishes to learn in this trip in Hung Yen province. On that basis, the province will prepare the contents to reply as well as to sign a cooperation agreement with Kanagawa Prefecture’s enterprises in the upcoming business trip in Nakagawa Prefecture.
