The launching ceremony drew the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Tran Quoc Van, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for the Covid-19 Prevention and Control; Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, comrades in the Provincial Standing Committee, the Standing members of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Standing Board of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of departments, branches, agencies, localities and a large number of businesses, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province.

In the past time, with the drastic leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee and the Government; with the participation of the whole political system in the province and the response, agreement and responsibility of the entire people with the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", Hung Yen has actively prepared good conditions to cope with all epidemic situations; strictly and closely controlled all epidemic developments, thoroughly handled 03 epidemic areas in Phu Cu, My Hao, Khoai Chau with 37 positive cases in the area. The province has quickly tracked down risky objects; effectively zoned, isolated and stamped out the epidemic. The whole province has applied measures to limit gatherings and suspended non-essential services; strengthened the epidemic prevention and control in industrial parks and enterprises; promoted the application of information technology in medical declaration, assessment of safety for the epidemic prevention. At the same time, well ensuring social security work, maintaining production activities, effectively implementing "the dual goal" under the direction of the Government. The province's socio-economic situation in the first 6 months of the year has achieved positive results: Gross regional domestic product increased by 5.75%; total development investment capital reached 18,126 billion VND, up 8.35%; export attained 2,300 million USD, up 9.25%; budget revenue reached 9,100 billion VND, getting 66.9% of the plan; disbursing public investment capital 1,736 billion VND, reaching 50.2% of the plan; attracting 24 more projects with a total registered capital of 34,300 billion VND; creating jobs for 8,700 people. Hung Yen has early controlled the epidemic in 30 days (from the appearance of the infected case on April 29, to the last positive case recorded on May 27). Up to now, the whole province has not seen any new cases for 21 days and ready to move to the phase of epidemic prevention and control in the new situation.

Responding to the call of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to launch “The peak period of support for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic", and support “The Vaccine Fund" of the Prime Minister; on behalf of the Party Committee, Government and people of Hung Yen province, Deputy Party Secretary, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Quoc Van called on domestic organizations, enterprises and FDI ones in the province; benefactors; cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces and people of Hung Yen province with the tradition of solidarity "mutual love", the affection and responsibility for the community, to actively participate in mobilizing, donating and supporting the province's Covid-19 prevention and control fund, contribute more resources to join hands with Hung Yen province to strengthen measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, ensuring social security, safety of life and health of the people. All contributions of people and businesses, come from the heart and responsibility to the community, the sympathy and sharing with the State. Funds will be used effectively, transparently, in accordance with regulations, and give priority to buy Covid-19 vaccines, support units and individuals directly involved in the epidemic prevention and control and those who face difficult situation due to the epidemic. The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee is the unit that receives all the support from collectives and individuals.

At the conference, 266 businesses, organizations and benefactors have registered and supported the province to carry out the province's Covid-19 prevention and control work with an amount of over VND 80 billion. By the afternoon of June 18, units, businesses and benefactors have supported and transferred the amount of over 27 billion VND to the account owned by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.
