After more than 4 months of preparation for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People's Council at all levels for the 2021-2026 period, which was held on May 23, 2021, the election has been successfully completed, ensuring democracy, lawfulness, saving, safety and truly a festival of the whole people. On the election day, over 910 thousand voters in the province participated in voting, reaching 98.03%. In which, 17/161 communes, wards and townships and 433/1,161 polling stations have had 100% of voters voting. As a result, Hung Yen province has elected all 7 deputies to the 15th National Assembly as assigned; and 53/53 delegates to the Provincial People's Councils at all levels; at the district level: 323/323 delegates; at the commune level: 4,005/4074 delegates...

At the conference, the delegates focused on discussing and proposing to reward collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and the People's Council at all levels for the period of 2021 – 2026. The Draft Resolution on announcing the election results and the list of elected deputies to the 15^th Hung Yen Provincial People's Council, in the period of 2021 – 2026 were approved at the conference.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Duy Hung praised and acknowledged the efforts of the Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front, political system at all levels, election commissions, especially the election groups in the whole province. The authorities at all levels and the armed forces have well performed the task of ensuring security and order. The localities have developed plans and well organized the election in the context of complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic. The propaganda on the meaning and importance of the election was carried out synchronously and effectively. Thereby, it has made an important contribution for Hung Yen province to successfully organize this election.

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Commission Tran Quoc Toan affirmed: Over the past time, the whole political system and the whole people in the province have actively participated in the election. The Provincial People's Committee has directed the effective performance of measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic. The sub-committees of the Provincial Election Commission have well conducted the assigned plans and tasks. The organization of the election was carefully carried out, creating consensus among the people and voters. Thanks to that, Hung Yen has successfully organized the election. The elected delegates have a high percentage of votes, ensuring the right structure and composition. Comrade Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial Election Commission Tran Quoc Toan suggested that in the coming time, agencies and units would continue to perform well in receiving and handling comments and complaints, denunciations of citizens related to the election (if any); carefully prepare good conditions for organizing the first meeting of the 17th Provincial People's Council, in the period of 2021-2026...
