Delegates attend the Opening ceremony of Pho Hien folk cultural festival 2019

The opening remark of the festival evokes the pride of Pho Hien, the famous and prosperous commercial port for a while, where the vestiges still remain in the architectural works, historical and cultural relics, and valuable antiques.  Coming up next, a musical show was performed by professional and amateur actors of Hung Yen City and Hung Yen people.  The pieces of Cheo singing and songs praising the beauty of the homeland, the country and Pho Hien people were also interestingly performed.

The festival is an occasion to promote the development of trade, service and tourism of Hung Yen city in particular and Hung Yen province in general.  Thereby, it contributes to preserving and promoting the cultural values of historical relics in Hung Yen city and at the same time, meeting the needs of enjoying religious and spiritual culture through visiting the historical and cultural relics and architectural and artistic works.

Before the opening ceremony, the delegates and people solemnly offered incense at Tran temple and Mau temple.
