Chairman of the provincial People's Committee witnesses the handover of the testing device system to the health sector
Responding to the call of all people to participate in the prevention and control of COVID-19 by the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control and the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, a lot of collectives, individuals have supported, in which a company has donated the system of testing devices and auxiliary equipment, supplies and chemicals with a total value of 8 billion VND for Hung Yen.
The province agreed to give the system of testing devices to the health sector. After receiving, the Department of Health has installed it at the Provincial Disease Control Center for the detection of SARS-CoV-2.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Phong requested the Department of Health to immediately install and at the same time invite professional staff at the central hospital to support and transfer technology in order to operating and testing early next week. Department of Health should arrange enough officials to carry out the task of taking samples and testing effectively.
The recommendations of the Provincial Center for Disease Control on: procurement of automatic extracting machines, chemicals for testing, kits, the specimen collection devices, etc., have been agreed by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the Department of Health was assigned to set up an estimate and deploy purchasing. Funding for procurement will come from socialization.
