Hung Yen strives for the certification of Vietgap 162 of the concentrated fruit cultivation areas in the period of 2018-2020
On October 16, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 2532 / QĐ-UBND approving the plan of organization of VietGap standard certification (good agricultural production practice) on some major fruit trees of the province in the period of 2018 - 2020....
According to the plan, in the period of 2018-2020, VietGap certification will be issued to 3 major fruit trees of the province including longan, citrus and litchi in 162 concentrated cultivation areas of 2,175 thousand hectares, in which the certified area for longan trees is 1, 582 hectares, and that of citrus trees and litchi are 514 hectares and 79 hectares respectively. The total budget for implementation in the period of 2018-2020 is over VND 11.6 billion which is financed from the provincial budget and districts and cities certified with Vietgap standards.
