At Pho Hien special national relic site (Hung Yen city), the number of visitors have increased. Ms. Tran Thi Xuan, Deputy Chairman of management board of Pho Hien special national relic site said: 'As of May 1, 2021, Management board of Pho Hien special national relic site postponed all kinds of festivals and closed relics to implement measures for Covid-19 protection and control.Over the past 2 months, activities of tourism and festivals have beenrecommenced. Relics have received thousands of tourists to come and contemplate. The number of visitors doubles at weekends. Hung Yen province now is a safe destination and a good choice for an one-day vacation.

After receiving the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism about reopening tourism activities under new normal, the provincial people's committee issued the Plan ref 45/KH-UBND dated March.14,2022 on the demand stimulation and recovery of tourism activities  with the adaption to the new situation.

The department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has directed and guided the attractions, tourism business and service agents to ensure the facilities and tourism personnel to meet the demand after resuming tourism. Plans for Covid-19 prevention and control according to regulations of the province and medical authorities including the plans for treatment of medical incidents related to tourism are carefully made.

Now information of Hung Yen tourism is mostlydisseminated through websites of state agencies, web portals of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the provincial tourism promotion center, propaganda through social networks such as Facebook, TikTok, Youtube, Zalo. Application of information technology in tourism propaganda has assisted the enterprises to connect to tourists and state management agencies in proving information about the tourism activities.

Also, the Provincial tourism promotion center actively joined Vietnam international travel mart with the theme: 'Hung Yen tourism, attractive destinations'; cooperated with the travel agencies to pick up and guide delegations to Hung Yen on the waterway tour and the road traffic tour to Pho Hien special national relic site (Hung Yen city), Da Hoa- Da Trach relic cluster (Khoai Chau district). The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also directed that districts, towns and the city should examine the quality of technical infrastructures of tourism services; improve the degraded zones to raise the tourism product quality.

Now the Department are focusing on supporting to build some new tourism production models in localities having potentials to develop eco-tourism and culture attached with craft villages and agricultural and rural tourism. Some major places are orange gardens, banh rang bua (harrow-shaped rice cake) craft village, flower and ornamental trees growing village in Van Giang district; bamboo fish trap weaving craft village in Thu Sy commune (Tien Lu district); Nom and Thai Lac pagoda, Nghia Trai medicinal herb craft village.

Mr. Pham Van Hieu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: In the coming time, based on the practical situation, the Department would: cooperate with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and some provinces and cities to recover the tourism activities; do surveys, dissemination and introduction of destinations; hold seminars for development connection among localities; consult the provincial People's committee to direct the tourism program in the province; implement the assistance package of the Government to tourism activities. Thanks to comprehensive solutions, Hung Yen tourism has given new signals of thriving in the first months of 2022, making a momentum for Hung Yen tourism reviving and taking a leap in the coming time.
