Recently, tourism activities in the province have had positive changes. However, the province's tourism industry has not developed commensurate with its potential. The number of tourists coming to the province is still small, revenue from tourism is not high. The organization of a conference to promote tourism destinations in Hung Yen province aims to evaluate and reasonably exploit the tourism potential of the province; improve the effectiveness of promotional activities; further promote tourism development links between provinces, cities, and tourism businesses in the region; Identify, build and develop unique, attractive tourism products suitable for the tourist market.

At the conference, delegates discussed and pointed out the limitations of Hung Yen's tourism industry such as: Tourism products are not rich and duplicated; Facilities and infrastructure serving tourism activities are lacking and weak; Human resources in the tourism sector are not yet professional... Delegates proposed that Hung Yen develop more specific products such as community tourism, rural tourism in combination with craft villages; Closely link with neighboring localities to create new tours and tourist routes to serve the increasing needs of tourists, especially the Hanoi tourist market. The system of accommodation establishments, restaurants, and entertainment services in the locality is limited, causing difficulties for tourism and travel businesses that want to bring a large number of tourists to the locality at a time. … The province needs to attract large investors to make Hung Yen a safe and friendly destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

On the same day, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with a number of tourism and travel businesses to survey a number of tourist destinations in Khoai Chau district including: Da Hoa Temple (Binh Minh commune) ; Hoa Da Trach temple and Trieu Viet Vuong temple (Da Trach commune); Dong Tao chicken farm and longan garden.
