Over the years, the image of the landscape and people of Hung Yen province has become increasingly popular to domestic and international tourists. Tourism business activities have prospered. Up to now, the whole province has 4 international travel businesses, 3 domestic travel businesses; more than 200 accommodation establishments; all are qualified for tourism business. The connection between provincial tours and tourism centers throughout the country was gradually created and expanded. Tourism propaganda, and promotion are paid attention to. The number of tourists coming to the province is increasing. As of June 2019, the province has received 670,000 domestic and foreign visitors.

Speaking at the seminar, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Tien Sy requested that in the coming time the sector of Culture, Sports and Tourism should focus on implementing a number of solutions, namely building and consulting with competent authorities to produce incentive mechanism to attract investors into the tourism sector; promoting dissemination, launching tourism promotion; paying attention to training and improvement of professional skills for tourism employees; strengthening the state management of cultural and tourist activities in the province; developing tourism products of the province; tourism businesses taking the initiatives in joint ventures with other provinces and cities nationwide to link routes and tours to attract tourists to Hung Yen province.

At the seminar, the delegates focused on discussing a number of issues: Establishing the Tourism Association of the province to create a link between tourism businesses and tourism management agencies; building preferential mechanisms to attract investment; developing tourism infrastructure; strengthening propaganda and education on history, famous people and attraction in the province so that every citizen can work on tourism; completing the smart travel information page of Hung Yen province with information such as attractions, food, transportation systems, accommodation facilities in order to make offer to tourists when visiting the province.
