The reports on PCI and PGI 2023 is made based on feedbacks of over 10.6 thousand of enterprises, in which there are over 8.4 thousand of enterprises in the private sector and 725 newly-established enterprises, and up to 1.5 thousand of active FDI enterprises in Vietnam.
Mr. Pham Tan Cong, Chairman of VCCI presented the trophy to Hung Yen province standing in the top 10 provinces and cities with the best PGI scores in 2023 in Vietnam.
According to PCI 2023 report, Hung Yen province scores 69.09 points (out of 100), increasing by 1.18 points and ranking 14th out of 63 provinces. There are 6 sub-indexes scoring higher points compared with 2022 including: Entry cost, Transparency, Proactivity of Provincial Leadership, Business support service, Labor and Training, Legal Institutions.
Regarding PGI, according to announcement results, Hung Yen reaches 24.59 points (out of 40), ranks 4th out of 63 provinces with scores of 4 sub-indexes are: 7.5 points for minimizing the risk of climate hazards to firms; 4.82 points for maintaining minimum environmental standards by firms; 5.32 points for environmental leadership by provincial governments and 5.88 points for environmental incentives and support services by provincial governments.
At the ceremony, VCCI presented trophies and certificates to the top 10 provinces and cities with the best PCI scores in Vietnam; presented trophies and certificates to Hung Yen province and other provinces and cities ranked in the top 10 for the best PGI points in 2023 in Vietnam.
