On the afternoon of October 8th, at the Lam Son Conference Center in Son Nam ward, the Provincial People's Committee organized a meeting with businesses and entrepreneurs to commemorate the 21st anniversary of Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13, 2004 - October 13, 2025). Attending the conference was Mr. Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Also present were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and the Provincial People's Committee.

Over the years, the number and quality of businesses and entrepreneurs in Hung Yen province have grown significantly; their reputation and contributions have been increasingly affirmed. Currently, there are approximately 16,600 effectively operating businesses in the province, creating jobs for about 520,000 workers. The activities of these businesses have contributed to a rapid increase in industrial production value, accounting for a large proportion of the province's economic structure.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than affirmed that the achievements of Hung Yen province in recent years are the result of the efforts of the Party Committee, the government, and the people of the province, including the important role of the business community and entrepreneurs. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Hung Yen province is always committed to creating favorable conditions for businesses to develop and respecting their interests by directing the acceleration of administrative reforms, providing timely support to businesses in areas such as taxation, investment, construction, land, labor training, and accompanying businesses...

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended the Provincial Business Association for its contributions in acting as a "bridge" between businesses and the government, promptly reflecting and proposing solutions to overcome difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses to leaders at all levels, which have been effectively resolved. At the same time, it is suggested that the Provincial Business Association closely follow the province's socio-economic development program and plan, better fulfill its role in representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of businesses and entrepreneurs; proactively organize activities to link, cooperate, share experiences, support trade promotion, product consumption, human resource training, and improve business management capacity; and build the Association into an organization with a scale commensurate with the province's development potential in the future. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that Party committees and authorities in the province continue to thoroughly disseminate and effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's and province's laws on private economic development and support for businesses and entrepreneurs in accordance with Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW dated May 4, 2025, of the Politburo on private economic development; and to comprehensively implement solutions to improve the investment and business environment to be favorable, safe, competitive, and equitable for businesses to develop. Enhance openness and transparency in the development, planning, and implementation of strategies, plans, and policies for economic development and investment attraction in the province. The business community and entrepreneurs should uphold the spirit of self-reliance and self-improvement, promoting the tradition of solidarity and mutual support; Proactively and creatively innovate production and business models in line with the trends of green economy, digital economy, and circular economy. Actively and proactively participate with Party committees and authorities at all levels in building and perfecting mechanisms and policies to support and encourage production and business development; contributing to promoting administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment, and enhancing the province's competitiveness.

On this occasion, many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in production, business, building and developing the business community, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province, were awarded by the Chairman of the Vietnam Federation of Trade and Industry, the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
