On the morning of October 21st, the provincial investment promotion delegation, led by Mr. Nguyen Quang Hung, Member of the Standing Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, and Head of the delegation, in coordination with the Foreign Investment Agency - Ministry of Finance and Geleximco Group, organized an investment promotion conference to attract investors in the field of automotive parts and components manufacturing in Wuhu City (Anhui Province, China).

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Standing Committee Member, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, and Head of the delegation, delivered a speech at the conference.

Attending the conference from the Chinese side were representatives from the Wuhu City Foreign Affairs Department; representatives from the Chery Group; and over 100 enterprises from An huy Province.

At the conference, the Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission and head of the delegation delivered a welcoming speech and introduced the potential and advantages of Hung Yen province and the Thai Binh Economic Zone; inviting businesses from Anhui province in particular and Chinese businesses in general to invest in Hung Yen province. The comrade affirmed that Hung Yen province always accompanies, supports, and creates favorable conditions for investors throughout the process of surveying, researching, implementing projects, and conducting production and business activities in Hung Yen. Also at the conference, representatives of the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board and leaders of Hung Phu commune People's Committee answered questions of concern to investors when investing in Thai Binh Economic Zone.

Representatives from the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, leaders of Hung Phu commune, and the investor of Hung Phu Industrial Park infrastructure answered questions raised by Chinese investors.

As part of their working visit, the delegation met with Mr. Truong Quy Binh, Vice Chairman of Chery Group and Chairman of Chery International, at Chery Group's headquarters in Wuhu City; and toured the group's automobile manufacturing plant, car showroom, and AI-powered robotics facility. During the meeting, Chery Group leaders expressed their desire to explore investment opportunities in several areas where Chery excels, such as shipbuilding, robotics, and artificial intelligence (AI), in Hung Yen province.

In the province, Chery Group, in a joint venture with Geleximco Group, is currently implementing the GEL-O&J automobile manufacturing and assembly project at Hung Phu Industrial Park with a total investment of 319 million USD. Phase 1 production is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2026, with a capacity of 60,000 vehicles per year.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hung, Standing Committee Member, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission, and Head of the delegation, presented commemorative gifts and introduced the unique cultural features of Hung Yen to the leaders of the Foreign Affairs Department of Wuhu City (Anhui Province, China).
