The economic model of good production and business farmers in My Hao town

In order to deepen studying and following Uncle Ho and spread widely among farmers' cadres and members, the Association has promoted propagandizing and learning about the Party's Directives and Resolutions, the State's legal policies associated with thematic topics of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style in various forms, suitable to the conditions of each association such as: the activities, conferences, farmer's club activities with the law, etc. Thereby helping farmers' officials and members to turn studying and following into voluntary and regular work.

Mr. Vu Van Kien, Vice Chairman in charge of the Provincial Farmers' Association said: To attract farmer members to actively participate in the movement, the Associations at all levels have opened 471 training courses on the science and technology transfer; supplied over 1,768 tons of fertilizer with deferred payment; unsecured loans from Farmers Support Fund at all levels of nearly VND 84.8 billion and from credit institutions with an amount of more than VND 3 trillion for members to borrow capital for the economic development; connected the consumption of more than 155 tons of agricultural products for farmer members; built economic models of collectives, cooperative groups, cooperatives, attracted and created jobs for thousands of members.

From the emulation movement, a large number of farmer members have actively had many practical work such as: practicing thrift, diligently increasing production; uniting, supporting poor members in seed, capital, science and technology to reduce poverty sustainably... On average, there are over 70,000 farming households each year achieving good production and business households at all levels, such as: Luu Van Dung's household, Quang Hung commune (Phu Cu) with the model of producing and trading fingerlings and commercial fish, earning a profit of 3 billion VND/year, creating regular jobs for 15 employees; Giang Van Chien's household, Binh Minh commune (Khoai Chau) with the model of production and trading of plants and seeds in combination with animal husbandry, earning a profit of 500 million VND per year, creating regular jobs for 20 workers...

Lac Hong Commune Farmers' Association (Van Lam) is one of the typical examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style. In 2021, the Commune Farmers' Union was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Party Executive Committee for outstanding achievements in 5 years of implementing the Directive No. 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the Politburo on promoting learning and working according to Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Comrade Dao Van Kiem, Chairman of Lac Hong Commune Farmers' Association said: To get that result, the Association has propagated and mobilized farmer members to promote internal resources and exploit the potentials and strengths of themselves and their families, actively participate in the implementation of the movement "Farmers emulate in the good production and business, unite to help each other get rich and reduce poverty sustainably" in order to improve the economic life of households. In addition, the Commune Farmers' Union coordinated to organize training courses and transfer science and technology; unsecured credit with the Transaction Office of Social Policy Bank in Van Lam district of over VND 7.1 billion for 235 households to borrow money for economic development. In 2021, the whole commune has 524 good production and business households at all levels.

Studying and following Uncle Ho has created a strong change in the awareness of farmers' officials and members. From daily jobs and simple actions, each farmer cadre and member has a sense of progress in life, boldly invests in production development, reduces poverty, and contributes to building the organization of the Farmers Association strongly.
