According to Resolution No. 1248, the arrangement of commune-level administrative units in Hung Yen city is as follows: Enter the entire natural area of 0.44 km2 and population of 9,336 people of Quang Trung ward into Le ward. Profit. After merging, Le Loi ward has a natural area of 1.43 km2 and a population of 18,564 people.

Adjusting a part of the natural area of 0.05 km2 of Phuong Chieu commune to merge into Lien Phuong commune. After adjustment, Lien Phuong commune has a natural area of 5.56 km2 and a population of 9,832 people.

Established Phuong Nam commune on the basis of importing the entire natural area of 2.49 km2, population size of 6,286 people of Phuong Chieu commune and the entire natural area of 3.67 km2, population size of 4,941 people. people of Hong Nam commune (after adjusting 0.05 km2 of the natural area of Phuong Chieu commune to Lien Phuong commune). After its establishment, Phuong Nam commune has a natural area of 6.16 km2 and a population of 11,227 people.

After arrangement, Hung Yen city has 15 commune-level administrative units, including 6 wards and 9 communes.
