On spring days, strolling around famous relics in Hung Yen city such as: Xich Dang Temple of Literature, Chuong Pagoda, Tran Temple, Mau Temple... we can clearly feel the joyful and bustling atmosphere as groups of visitors flock here to admire landscape, worship, and pray for the good in the new year...

Mr. Do Ngoc Bao, a tourist from Quang Ninh province, shared: "I have a good impression when visiting the relics in Hung Yen city. Every spring, my family and I visit here and worship at temples and pagodas. Every time I'm here, I see that the city has new and modern features, but still retains its peaceful and ancient cultural features.

According to many visitors, they often visit Mau Temple first. Mau Temple, whose Chinese name is Hoa Duong Linh Tu, is one of the relics belonging to the Pho Hien National Special Relic Site. The temple is located on the shore of Crescent Lake in Quang Trung ward. Through the dynasties, Mau Temple has been restored and embellished many times but still retains its ancient beauty, keeping the green color of the hundred-year-old canopies. At the beginning of the year, Mau Temple is bustling with people coming and going; the incense is always fragrant. The temple's architecture is imbued with Nguyen Dynasty style, including many items such as: Nghi Mon, Dai Bai, Cung De Nhat, Cung De Nhi, Cung De Tam, Hau Cung, Phu Dong, Phu Tay, Lau Co... The works are all made of ironwood, carved with sophisticated patterns in many themes with high artistic value. Here, visitors can also admire many valuable antiques and worship objects. Mau Temple Festival takes place in the third lunar month, with many activities to preserve traditional values such as: worshipping, palanquin procession, lion dance, dragon dance, water procession, and many unique folk games.

Hung Yen city currently has 200 historical, cultural and architectural relics (including Pho Hien Special National Relic Site and 20 national relics). In particular, 16 relics in Pho Hien Special National Relic Site are the convergence among pure Vietnamese architecture, Chinese architecture and Western-style architecture with unique historical, cultural and artistic values, playing as highlights for tourism development in Hung Yen City. In the first month of 2024, relics in Hung Yen City host thousands of visitors every day.
