According to Hung Yen city’s Economic Department, the yearly output is estimated to reach over 7 thousand tons, equal to 60% of the output in 2018. However, the selling price is expected to be 1.5 to 2 times higher than last year. Early ripe longans have been harvested currently in some areas, with the price of 50-60 thousand VND / kg. The main-crop longan will be harvested in the next lunar July.
