Groundbreaking ceremony for the 1.5 billion USD Trump International Hung Yen project
According to statistics from the beginning of the year, Hung Yen Province has registered 47 domestic projects alongside 32 FDI projects for new investment and capital increases, with a total capital equivalent to 4.48 billion USD. This figure represents more than double the 2.1 billion USD in investment capital attracted throughout the entire year of 2024.
This substantial increase is attributed to two multi-billion-dollar projects invested within the province. Notably, the urban complex, eco-tourism, and golf course development project in Khoai Chau, commercially known as Trump International Hung Yen, recently commenced construction with an investment capital exceeding 39,000 billion VND, equivalent to over 1.5 billion USD.

Additionally, the investment project for the construction of Sub-area A - North Urban Area of National Highway 5 within Pho Noi Urban Area (previously assigned to Hoa Phat Group as the primary investor and currently undergoing re-tendering) has now increased its capital to 35,000 billion VND, equivalent to 1.4 billion USD, representing a ten-fold increase from the previously registered capital amount.
Also during the first five months of the year, Hung Yen Province attracted over 530 million USD in FDI capital. Currently, the province maintains over 2,400 active investment projects with a total registered capital equivalent to nearly 28 billion USD.
