Delegates cut the ribbons to open Hung Yen agricultural product and longan week 2019

In 2019, the expected output of some major agricultural products of the province is estimated at over 30 thousand tons of longans, 9 thousand tons of lychee, nearly 29 thousand tons of oranges; over 64 thousand tons of bananas, over 110 thousand tons of pork, over 34 thousand tons of aquatic products ... At the opening ceremony, the organizing board arranged 10 booths to introduce the consumers of the capital city to Hung Yen longan grown by cooperatives, businesses, farms and gardens in the province.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dang Ngoc Quynh said that currently, Hung Yen longan has been ranked 13^th out of 50 famous Vietnamese fruits and recognized as the best fruit by Vietnamese book of records and has been registered to protect the trademark "Hung Yen's longan offered to the King" with geographical indication to help customers identify authentic Hung Yen longan. This year, in addition to distribute longans in supermarket chains in Hanoi city, Hung Yen province continues to coordinate with Big C Supermarket to organize Hung Yen Agricultural product and longan week 2019 in Hanoi to introduce and promote Hung Yen longan to domestic and international customers.
