Hoang Hanh commune receives the certificate of new-style rural area.

On March 1, Hoang Hanh commune (Hung Yen city) held a ceremony to receive the certificate of new-style rural area. The ceremony saw the attendance of Mr. Do Tien Sy, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial delegation of National Assembly; Mr. Ta Hong Quang, Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hung Yen City; Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee....

In order to invest into the construction of new-style rural area, Hoang Hanh commune has actively financed from the support of non-governmental organizations, higher-level budgets and especially the contribution of the people in the commune and people living away from home. The total capital for construction of new style rural area of the commune by the end of 2018 is VND 104 billion, of which nearly VND 36 billion comes from the community.

During the process of building the new-style rural area, people in the commune voluntarily donated about 4,000 square meters of land to build roads. Thus, the commune has upgraded and renovated over 11 km of roads with the total cost of over VND 38 billion. Agricultural production has witnessed a strong shift towards positive direction. The commune promotes the consolidation of paddy fields, land accumulation, restructuring of crops which has formed a number of concentrated commodity production models, yielded high economic efficiency and improved income to people. In 2018, the average income per capita of the commune reached VND 41.5 million while the poverty rate decreased to 2.99%. Despite low starting point, thanks to the support of provinces and cities and efforts of the Party, Government and people in the commune, by the end of 2018, Hoang Hanh commune had achieved 19 out of 19 criteria of new-style rural construction. On December 14, 2008, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision 2947 / QD-UBND recognizing Hoang Hanh commune to meet the new-style rural standards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duy Hung praised and acknowledged the results achieved by the Party Committee of Hoang Hanh commune, authorities and people in the process of building the new-style rural area. At the same time, it is required that in the coming time, the commune should continue its efforts to mobilize resources from the people to improve the quality of new-style rural criteria. The commune should pay special attention to the planning and production in the direction of focusing on high economic efficiency, building of branding in order to raise people’s income. In addition, the commune should continue to pay attention to education, health, culture, society and environment, administrative procedure reform.

At the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Do Tien Sy gave flowers, congratulated the Party, authorities and people of Hoang Hanh commune; Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duy Hung presented the certificate of recognition of new-style rural area to representatives of the Party, government and people of Hoang Hanh commune.

On this occasion, 3 collectives and 2 individuals in the commune were rewarded by the Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province for their achievements and contributions in the new rural construction.
