Establishment of Phuong Nam commune on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population size of Phuong Chieu commune with Hong Nam commune to establish Phuong Nam commune (after adjusting 0.05 km2 of natural area of Phuong commune Return to Lien Phuong commune); Phuong Nam commune has a natural area of 6.16 km2 and a population of 11,227 people.
