Speaking to welcome the delegation of Phu Yen people's council, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council briefed the information of the land and people of Hung Yen province; achievements it gained since the province reestablishment, especially the remarkable socio-economic results in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023. In 2022, the state revenue reached over VND 51,000 billion. GRDP in the first quarter of 2023 accounted for 8.14%. Administrative reform, improvement of investment environment, enhancement of competitive capability associated with acceleration of digital transformation which has seen numerous positive changes. Investment into infrastructure of industrial parks, industrial clusters, investment attraction and enterprise development are focused. Now, the province is hosting 17 industrial parks, 26 industrial clusters, 15,225 enterprises with the registered capital topping VND 189 thousand. Urban planning and development is paid attention to. Sectors of culture, education and health care report positive results. The poverty rate drops to 1.93%. National defense and military work in the locality are boosted. From the beginning of 2021-2026 period, Provincial standing people's council committee has successfully held 12 meeting sessions.
