Each collective in Hung Yen province earns the income of over VND 120 million per year.

The online conference saw the attendance of Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

As of December 31, 2018, the whole country had over 101 thousand cooperative groups; 22,800 cooperatives and 74 union cooperatives. Compared to the end of 2003, the number of cooperative groups increased by 0.58%, the number of cooperatives increased by 59%; Union of Cooperatives increased by 2.8 times.

In Hung Yen province, after the Resolution No. 13, the province has issued multiple documents urging and directing departments, branches, localities, socio-political organizations to actively implement the support program of development of collective and cooperative economy.

As of September 30, 2019, the whole province has 89 cooperative groups and over 370 cooperatives. There are 51 newly established cooperatives; 100% of cooperatives are converted in accordance with the Law on Cooperatives 2012.

The average turnover of 1 cooperative is VND one billion two hundred million per year. The average profit of the cooperative is VND 126 million per year, creating regular jobs for over 8,100 people.

Activities of cooperatives are more and more stable and see new development steps. The Prime Minister requested that the ministries and branches to continue promoting the dissemination of the Party's Resolutions, Law and State policies on development of collective economy;  build and scale up  new types of cooperative models that operate effectively.

He also added that provinces and cities should promote the dissemination of the role, position and importance of cooperatives in new conditions to members of cooperatives and to the community; proactively balance funding from local budgets in order to support and encourage the development of cooperatives in the area; strengthen the state management of collective and cooperative economy.
