Tien Thang Dong Tao Chicken Cooperative, Binh Kieu Commune (Khoai Chau) was established in 2020. Although the cooperative started in the context of the Covid-19 outbreak, it took advantage of cyberspace to develop the product promotion and consumption. Mr. Nguyen Tien Thang, director of the cooperative said: Besides delivering and selling to traders, the cooperative advertises and introduces products via facebook and zalo. Thanks to making good use of these forms, in the past 2 years, the cooperative's operation has remained stable in the face of difficulties caused by the epidemic. Currently, each month, the cooperative sells 9-10 thousand seed, of which 30% of the seed is sold to customers via social networks.

Thanks to the quick digital transformation, Viet Tu clean mushrooms production and trade investment cooperative, Phu Thinh commune (Kim Dong) has not only built a brand of clean mushroom products but also brought the name of the cooperative far away. To create clean mushroom products, the cooperative has invested in machinery and factories to grow mushrooms according to VietGAP process and installed a camera system to directly monitor the production process. The product is boxed and has a QR-code to help consumers easily trace the origin, production process and nutritional information of the product. Thanks to the application of technology and transparency in production, the cooperative's mushroom products have conquered the market. The cooperative also promotes business on the cooperative's website, facebook and zalo. As a result, the cooperative's OCOP products are known to many customers.

To help cooperatives participate in digital transformation, over the past time, functional sectors have actively propagated and organized seminars on digital transformation; organized study tours, exchange experiences, introduced cooperative models inside and outside the province, which have successfully carried out digital transformation; organized training to raise awareness and qualifications for cooperative's managers about the benefits of applying digital technology and e-commerce, focused on the skills in marketing, planning, organizing production and application of science, technology and high technology; trained for farm owners and cooperatives on product promotion skills, online sales skills, and supported in applying the traceability system. In 2021, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sub-Department of Rural Development have built the OCOP website of Hung Yen province at http://ocophungyen.vn to introduce information about OCOP products; deployed and put into operation the agricultural cooperative data management system at https://quanlyhtxnongnghiep.gov.vn. Thereby, gradually creating conditions to promote cooperatives to participate in digital transformation.

The province now has 350 agricultural cooperatives. In parallel with the activities of putting the cooperative's products on the e-commerce floor, the cooperatives in the province also make efforts to apply technology in management, production and business activities. Many cooperatives have been gradually transforming digitally, considering it as the "key" to help cooperatives operate sustainably. Cooperatives are gradually applying digital transformation in such activities as: Applying high technology to production, installing surveillance camera systems, applying sensor systems and accounting software for tax reporting; attaching QR code of products; proactively building their own information page to introduce products… The implementation of these "digitized" solutions has opened up more opportunities to help cooperatives create good quality products and improve their operational efficiency. Up to now, the province has 52 cooperatives applying high technology; 45 cooperatives applying surveillance camera system; 9 cooperatives applying sensor system; 46 cooperatives participating in the traceability electronic database system; 32 cooperatives with OCOP products that are listed on the OCOP website of Hung Yen province…

In fact, the participation in digital transformation has initially helped cooperatives expand production and improve the value of agricultural products. However, the digital transformation in agricultural cooperatives still has many limitations such as: The proportion of cooperatives who are proficient in using information, connecting groups, and putting products on the e-commerce floor is not high; the capacity and qualifications in digitization and information technology of cooperative's managers are still limited… Comrade Le Van Thang, Director of the Sub-Department of Rural Development said: In order to support cooperatives in digital transformation, in the coming time, the branch will strengthen the organization of training on digital transformation for cooperatives, support resources for cooperatives to carry out digital transformation such as: modern equipment and machinery, and strengthening the coordination with functional departments and agencies to bring products of cooperatives on large e-commerce floors; application of digital technology in the production of OCOP products; actively coordinating with functional sectors to advise and propose mechanisms and policies to encourage digital transformation in the development of the collective economy and cooperatives towards modernity and sustainability.
