According to a report of Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, in this spring crop, nearly 40 thousand ha of rice have been planted in the province. Currently, spring rice is flowering. Through testing, the rice is basically growing and developing well but due to the abnormal influence of weather, the diseases of Pyticularia oryzae and Cnaphalocrosis medinalis have appeared in some areas. By proactively planning, forecasting and timely direction of prevention and elimination, pests and diseases have been controlled. However, the abnormal weather and high air humidity are favorable conditions for pests and diseases, especially Cnaphalocrosis medinalis and hoppers at the end of the crop.
